Finding quality, stylish vintage pieces for your wardrobe can be tough, even for the most veteran secondhand shoppers. To help you curate the retro closet of your dreams, we've put together a list of 10 local vintage sellers. Whether you are searching for the perfect floral sundress or the best vintage sweatshirt for White Out, these sellers can help you better understand the secondhand market of State College, PA!


While not all these sellers are based in State College, they have been vendors at downtown State College or Central PA markets, such as Pop Up Ave and 717 Vintage Fest.

Reopening in 2022 after a 2-year break, The Beehive Vintage has made a comeback, vending at vintage markets and festivals. Born from a passion for thrifting, The Beehive Vintage boasts a staggering 800 items sold on Depop alone.


"The name of this brand, the beehive, stems from my perspective on fashion being endless and diverse," Allysa explains in her Instagram introduction post. "I want this platform/shop to represent a “hive” where anyone can find items within their unique style. As someone with a diverse closet, I don’t ever settle for one specific style and always push myself to explore different things".

Based in Lancaster PA, Flowerhouse Threads founder Callie Gold has been selling secondhand for nearly 4 years. Currently, she brings her "funky" style across Pennsylvania through events such as the WECO Summer Market and The Philly Vintage Flea.


"I love sourcing funky pieces, full of color, and patterns!" one of her Instagram posts states, "Anything nostalgic and quirky is my vibe; from silly 70s tees to crazy patterned grandpa sweaters".

With colorful prints and lovely floral patterns, Mariposa Moon Vintage curates retro pieces with charm. Primarily selling at pop-ups such as 717 Vintage Fest and Baltimore Vintage Expo, Jacquelyn travels across the East Coast, sharing her secondhand finds with stylish shoppers.


"As a Gemini, my aesthetic is ever-changing, balancing soft romance with edgy, oversized silhouettes," writes Jacquelyn in her May 22nd Instagram post. "This dynamic is reflected in my collection, featuring an array of textures and styles, colors and prints."

Created by Penn State students Mark Edgar, Mitchell Spittle, and Gerik Urban, Nittany Thrifts sources hundreds of vintage Penn State items to sell on Depop and at pop-ups around Pennsylvania. When singer Zach Bryan performed at Penn State, Edgar, Spittle, and Urban had the unique opportunity to style him in vintage PSU apparel.

Founded in 2018, Rack Raider is a vintage vendor specializing in 80s, 90s, and Y2K styles. While they seem to mainly sell at pop-ups and vintage festivals, they do have a presence on Depop.

With a brick and mortar location in downtown York, PA, and host of 717 Vintage Fest, Revolt Style Studio has become a main player in the Central PA vintage clothing market. Starting as a mobile boutique, Revolt Style Studio now features local, handmade businesses, in addition to vintage.


"Jessica Weikert's love for vintage began through her interest in affordable, eco friendly fashion," the Revolt Style Studio states. "Our clothing selection is a mixture of eclectic statement pieces & versatile everyday-wear with a focus on wearable vintage that can be incorporated into a modern wardrobe."

Over 4000 items sold and still going strong, Thrifted Philly is fulfilling its mission of "providing unique thrifted items to customers in the most accessible way possible". Whether you are shopping at one of their many pop-ups or visiting their website, Thrifted Philly offers a wide range of Penn State gear, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and sportswear.

Penn State student Corey founded Thrifting King in 2022 to provide an outlet for his love of thrifting. Built on three core principles: environmental consciousness, budget-friendly style, and personalized styling, Thrifting King's vintage shop provides one-of-a-kind pieces from across the decades.


"I realized thrifting isn’t just about finding something new for your wardrobe," Corey explains in a pinned Instagram post, "it’s about discovering hidden treasures and giving them a second chance".

Nestled inside of Webster's Bookstore Cafe, Tiger's Eye Vintage Shop offers unique vintage finds. Recently, Tiger's Eye announced that ownership would be transferring over from Jenn Dashem to Nancy Hamilton of Webster's, and will continue to provide stylish vintage finds.

From State College, PA, Weekend Vintage is truly a local seller. With the slogan "your go-to for all things vintage", Weekend Vintage has made a name for itself in the area, hosting pop-ups in the HUB-Robeson Center, as well as attending Pop Up Ave this past May.
