Collective Courage: Changing Business for Good

Join the Center for the Business of Sustainability and the Smeal community on April 21, at Noon EST, as we honor alumni Jean Oelwang, 2021 inaugural recipient of the Gerald I. Susman Sustainability Leadership Award, presented by the Smeal College of Business.

Thanks to a generous gift given by Gerald and Elizabeth Susman, this award has been established to recognize alumni and friends who "demonstrate exceptional leadership in the advancement of sustainable business strategy, management, and practice." In honor of her achievement, Jean Oelwang will moderate a discussion with Jochen Zeitz, award-winning sustainability executive and current President and CEO of Harley-Davidson, Inc., and Erin Meezan, Chief Sustainability Officer at Interface. Hosted by Smeal Development, Alumni Relations, and the Smeal Center for the Business of Sustainability, the 2021 Susman Sustainability Leadership Award Speaker Series will provide an inspiring conversation bringing to life how other business leaders can collectively shift their businesses and their industries. Jean Oelwang and guest panelists plan to address how to make business a force of good for people and the planet.
