Black Gold Documentary: recommended look at coffee (and we created a new student viewing guide)

In my Sustainability Strategy class, we are watching the documentary Black Gold. It is getting a bit dated, but it is still highly relevant and I would strongly recommend it. (Warning: the trailer is not good)
Since the business building is getting a new coffee shop (Saxby's), I have chosen to focus the entire semester on coffee. At the end of the semester, teams of students will be proposing a sustainability strategy. But first, much to learn! I like to use documentaries as they can put you close to the "front lines" when you don't have the ability to actually go there.
Black Gold exposes students to the "hidden" costs of coffee as revealed through the experiences of coffee farmers in Ethiopia.
