Puerto Rico has the largest wind farm in the Caribbean and it survived the recent parade of hurricanes and experts think the island has the opportunity to go to a distributed, clean energy infrastructure, a fact that Elon Musk has taken notice of. (Living on Earth podcast)

American Electric Power and GE will build a 2,000-megawatt wind power facility in Oklahoma which will be the largest wind farm in the United States, cost $4.5 billion and provide clean power to 1.1 million homes.
